Know about the book, a MUST READ and 5/5 📚

Last review of 2017 (why does it sound so morbid...)

I have another site just because I thought Wordpress had an easier mobile app.

PSLE results are out!

For the boy I pushed like crazy and he did try all I asked - he's the poor boy who did one to one with me

A*

I've been with him for..wow 2 years ! And I'm glad to keep continuing with him

Okay. It's really surprising for me. My eyebrows hitched WAY over my hairline.

Cayden is my ...fail and/or just pass AND HE GOT A "B"!!!

Super super happy for Shavita (started this year), Hong Kai and Shanay (been with them for years too)

My (Thorough) Edits to "The Man With A Mission"

My edits are on this post: snapshots of edits, queries, comments, concerns
I didn't leave anything out as the main proofreader
It was meaningful to work on this project because the author had just passed away so his wife, and my colleague, wanted to continue his story; you will see a change of writing style near the end
This was the second book I worked on but I wanted to post this as an example of me as a book editor.

Every page was printed, I read and edited during all my free time (even as I travelled on public transport or was eating dinner); and I copied my changes to the word document, which again took up time but that was fine with me. You can't edit a book without having a physical copy to hang on to.

Because most of the books I dealt with were nonfiction autobiographies, there was a story to gleam and I wouldn't have to be bored by facts - there were a lot of them though. Honestly he wasn't a storyteller, and some parts made me laugh, but I still had to get used to the tone he used.

It was a long project. I really wanted to show my dedication, and I felt that I did. I even got a copy of the final piece when it was published. I concurrently worked on helping the publicity team for another new launch.
